Description
A standing martingale attaches straight onto the noseband, and is used mainly on horses who throw their heads around, or are in danger of hitting the rider on the nose if they lift their heads too high when they are brought to an ubrupt halt.
When the horse pulls upwards on a standing martingale, it applies pressure to the horse’s sensitive nose area.
Mostly used for polo and polcrosse.
Strong South African black or brown leather.
