Description
Running reins are a training aid that are used for ridden/flat work and encourage the horse to work in a frame.
They encourage the horse to lower his head, to flex at the poll and work on the vertical, to engage their hind quarters, and encourages correct muscle development.
Running reins go from your hands, through the bit, and attach to the girth – either on each side of the girth or between the horse’s front legs.
Running reins work by putting pressure on the horses mouth and poll.
Made from black or brown South African leather.
15mm wide – not too bulky to hold in your hands.
