Description
Mostly used on racehorses to prevent them lifting their tongue over the bit.
The action of lifting the bit reduces pressure on the horse’s mouth.
It buckles onto the headpiece, running down the centre of the face and then divides and goes on either side of the bit.
Prevents the bit from pinching and lifts the bit in the horse’s mouth.
It may be used in conjunction with any noseband but is not legal in a dressage test.
