FLeece padded nose piece is more comfortable for the horse.
Prevents the horse crossing his jaw or opening his mouth to evade bit action.
If fitted correctly it is supposed to leave the nostrils clear so they can breathe easier.
The rings at the cheeks give the horse more flexibility and comfort.
